1974 Mercedes Benz 450 SL (SOLD)
This is a one owner car that has been professionally maintained and garaged since driven off the lot in 1974. It was purchased and maintained by Leo Payne Mercedes Benz of Denver Colorado. Eventually, Murray Motors Mercedes Benz of Colorado took over and maintained the car until 2001. It was used almost exclusively as a working day commuter in it early life. In 2001, the car was handed down to the son as a wedding present. It was brought to Portland where it has been maintained exclusively by MBI Motors and Harold's Auto Service. MBI updated the A/C upon it's arrival in Portland. Since it's arrival in Portland, it has been maintained primarily for use in club activities, exhibitions & parades. This car has has never been without a garage. The soft top has been deployed less than a dozen times - mostly for inspection.
